Based in Triangle in West Yorkshire, Eco Friendly Furnishings was established in 2000 with the aim of creating attractive, reclaimed wood furniture that doesn’t, literally, cost the earth.
Our environmentally friendly company strongly believes in leaving the rain forests alone. Instead, each item of reclaimed wood furniture we produce is carefully created by our skilled Yorkshire craftsmen from recycled timber.
The reclaimed wood is usually bought from timber yards that specialise in recycled timber. It is then carefully prepared for working on, if necessary nails are removed and the reclaimed wood is dried and cleaned.
Occasionally we acquire environmentally friendly timber from saw mills that comes from trees uprooted in storms or felled due to infestation or disease. Learn more about how reclaimed wood furniture can reduce the impact on the environment.
